The Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve is situated in the north-eastern Amazon region of Ecuador. The reserve is made up of 605,000 hectares of primary forest, rivers and lakes, and is home to an incredible variety of animal and plant life. Five different ethnic groups live within the reserve: the Siona, Secoya, Cofán, Kichwas and Shuar, each of which has its own culture and language.
This unique tour, that only leaves a few times a year, is for those who have a passion for the environment and a love of adventure. You will discover this wild and fascinating world in the most natural and rewarding way, by canoe and on foot. We should be able to see parrots, toucans, monkeys, freshwater dolphins, anacondas and caimans. 
Note: we already have 2 reservations for this date, but we need a min of 4 bookings to let this unique and adventures tour go through for 800 US$ p.p. The max. group size is 8 to 10, to keep the tour authentic.
During this tour you will be totally immersed in the rainforest and your experience will not be disturbed by any motor noise. As a result, you will be able to hear all the incredible sounds made by local insects, birds, monkeys and other animals. Another benefit of traveling by paddle canoe is that the animals are less likely to be scared away when you approach, increasing your chances of observing wildlife.
